Ragusa

Ragusa, a city in the southern part of Sicily, boasts many late-baroque buildings built in the 18th century and a gorgeous and original landscape. Surrounded by valleys on three sides, the city is divided into the Ibla district, which was rebuilt by architect Gagliardi after the great earthquake of 1693, and the Superiore district, which was newly built in the 18th century.
