Tropical Botanical Garden
Tropical Botanical Garden is located in the Belém district, one of the most popular tourist spots in Lisbon. The garden is approximately 5 hectares in size and is overgrown with tropical and subtropical plants that were brought in during the colonial period. The grove of tall palm trees planted along the promenade from the entrance area is particularly impressive. The tropical atmosphere of the garden makes it the perfect place to take a relaxing break under the shade of a tree between visits to the surrounding sights.
Lisbon
Located on the north bank of the mouth of the Tagus river, Lisbon is the capital of Portugal, one of the most historic cities in Europe. The city is made up of valleys and hills, and is lined with historical buildings from various periods and rustic houses in pastel colors. The nostalgic atmosphere is created by retro streetcars running along winding hills and azulejo-tiled walls. The mild climate and delicious gourmet food are also secrets to the cozy feeling.
