Alcazaba of Málaga

Alcazaba of Málaga stands at the foot of Gibralfaro Hill, not far from Málaga's harbor. It was built in the 11th century during the Islamic Hammudid dynasty, and was repeatedly expanded by successive dynasties, evolving into an impregnable fortress that also served as a palace.
