Erg Chebbi
The Erg Chebbi, located at the western edge of the Sahara Desert near the border with Algeria, are a magnificent mountain of sand as high as 150 meters, stretching about 28 kilometers from north to south and 5 to 7 kilometers from east to west. From the small villages scattered around the base of the dunes that serve as tourist bases, it is easy to access the world of sand on foot. In particular, camping is popular for the spectacular view of the desert in the morning and evening when the entire desert is dyed by the sun, and for experiencing the desert at night with a star-filled sky.
Sahara Desert
The vast Sahara Desert occupies nearly a third of the African continent. Most of it is a rugged, rocky desert, but in the southeastern part of Morocco, you can encounter magnificent scenery of large sand dunes that are typical of the desert. In addition to the traditional activities of riding a camel and enjoying the feeling of caravanning, you can also participate in desert camping and enjoy a spectacular view of the sand at sunset, or immerse yourself in a world of silence under a star-filled sky, and feel the great nature woven by sand and sky.
