Kazakhstan is a vast country located in Central Asia, in the heart of Eurasia. It’s characterized by a varied land of plateaus, deserts, and steppes, surrounded by the Tien Shan Mountains and the Caspian Sea. Traditional nomadic lifestyles are deeply rooted in the culture, and can be seen in the yurts, or felt houses, and in the cuisine made from horse and mutton. In addition to the capital Astana, with its unique and magnificent architecture, and Almaty, the economic and cultural center overlooking the Tien Shan Mountains, the country also attracts travelers with its dynamic nature, from snow-capped mountains to dry deserts.
