Sarca Valley

Surrounded by Alpine mountains, the beautiful Sarca Valley is located to the north of Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. Blessed with a mild Mediterranean climate in spite of its high latitude, the valley is a region of vineyards and apple orchards. The valley is colored by several lakes and quaint villages, and is dotted with old castles, family-owned wineries that are popular for driving, hiking, and cycling.

Italian Lakes

Several long, narrow, glacier-carved lakes in the southern foothills of the Alps are called Italian Lakes. This scenic area has long been a favorite of aristocrats, and even today it is an exclusive resort with mansions and villas. Lake Como, dotted with aristocratic mansions with beautiful gardens, Lake Maggiore, whose Alpine scenery has attracted artists, and Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, are representative examples. The mild climate allows visitors to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious stay while taking a cruise or strolling along the lakeside.
