Taitung, Taiwan
Sanxiantai
Sanxiantai, located in the northern part of Chengcheng Township, Taitung County, is one of the most famous scenic spots in Taitung. Originally a cape, it was cut off from the land by wave erosion and became an island consisting of three huge rocks. The eight-arched bridge connecting the island to the mainland creates a distinctive landscape that looks like a dragon lying on its side, and the walking course that circles the island across the bridge is very popular.
Taitung
Taitung, located in southeastern Taiwan, faces the Pacific Ocean to the east and the Central Mountain Range that runs north to south across Taiwan to the west, and is an attractive area with varied and beautiful nature and a mild tropical climate. Taitung is also known for its diverse ethnic groups such as the Amis and Pumas. You can visit the historical sites of these indigenous people, taste the local specialties such as fruits and seafood, and enjoy the rich natural environment and the culture that is rooted in it.
