Venice, Italy
Giudecca Island
The island of Giudecca, located across the Giudecca Canal from the main island of Venice, is an island where you can spend a relaxing time, unlike the main island which is always crowded with tourists. It takes only about five minutes by vaporetto (water bus) to arrive at this other world, where you can enjoy a leisurely meal with the locals.
Venice
Venice is a water city built on a lagoon on the Adriatic Sea. Cars and bicycles are not allowed in the city, and boats are the only means of transportation. A leisurely gondola ride through the canals while admiring the Renaissance and Gothic mansions is a standard part of any trip to Venice. The maze of alleys, historic bridges over canals, and other beautiful sights unique to a city on the water attract people from all over the world.
