Botanical Building and Lily Pond

Among the many facilities of Balboa Park, one of San Diego's most popular tourist attractions, two of the most beautiful photo spots are the Botanical Building, located almost in the center of the park, and Lily Pond, which sits directly in front of the Botanical Building. Both were built for the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition and have spanned more than 100 years of history. A stroll through the museum and along the pond's banks reveals an elegant, open atmosphere with beautiful buildings and tropical plants.
