Shibuya Crossing

With its concentration of commercial facilities and transportation systems, Shibuya bustles with people on a daily basis. The scramble crossing in front of JR Shibuya Station, located in the center of the city, sees as many as 500,000 people a day, or as many as 3,000 people crossing at a single green light. The sight of so many people crossing the pedestrian crossing without bumping into each other has become a symbolic scene of the metropolis of Tokyo, and the crossing has become an unmissable tourist spot.
