Mount Amari
Mount Amari is a 1,731-meter-high mountain located on the hillside of Mt. Hōō, towering over the Kofu Basin. Mt. Fuji and a 360-degree panoramic view, combined with the ease of access to the summit by car and the beauty of the seasonal flowers that decorate the area around the summit, it has become one of the most popular mountains in Yamanashi.
Southern Alps
The Akaishi Mountain Range, which includes the second highest mountain in Japan, Kitadake, is commonly known as the "Southern Alps. The mountain range straddles the three prefectures of Nagano, Yamanashi, and Shizuoka, and stretches 120 km from north to south and 40 km from east to west, with 3,000-meter-high mountains rising 4mm per year. The gently sloping mountains and the alpine plants that bloom in the rich soil attract climbers, and the area is blessed with many attractive climbing routes.
