Draa Valley

Driving down the national highway from Ouarzazade for a while to the south, you will see a lush green forest of date palms surrounding the Draa River, moistening the earthy landscape of dry mountains and land. This area of oasis is called the Draa Valley, and it stretches nearly 100 kilometers from Agdz to Zagora. The wide valley is dotted with elegant hotels mixed with traditional casbahs (fortresses), and you can enjoy your stay in the oasis like a paradise surrounded by trees.

Around Ouarzazade

Ouarzazade is a major transportation hub located high on the outskirts of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. It is served by a number of attractive scenic roads, including the mountain road over the pass to Marrakech in the north, and the Kasbah road, which leads east to Errachidia, where a number of fortified villages remain. The desert oasis of Ouarzazade, surrounded by dynamic nature, is also known as the center of the film industry, and the film studios that have produced numerous masterpieces are popular tourist attractions.
