Mount Temple
Mount Temple is the highest peak in the Lake Louise area of Banff National Park, at 3,544 meters above sea level. It was the first mountain in the Canadian Rockies to be summited in 1894, and is now a popular destination for ordinary climbers. Surrounded by valleys on three sides, it can be viewed from many different vantage points, and there are many easy trails that offer beautiful views of the glacier-covered mountain.
Banff National Park
Banff National Park in Alberta was the first national park in Canada established in 1887 to protect the spectacular natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. The scenery is breathtaking, with the snow-capped ridges of the Rocky Mountains reflected in an emerald green glacial lake surrounded by thick green coniferous forests. It has become a major resort area where travelers from all over the world come to enjoy the charm of nature.
