Pacific Surfliner

The Pacific Surfliner is a train that runs along the southern California coastline. It runs 563 km between San Luis Obispo, a city halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, and San Diego, near the Mexican border. Known as one of the most scenic Amtrak routes in the U.S., passengers can enjoy a relaxing train ride while viewing the shimmering Pacific Ocean from the train windows.

Del Mar

The Pacific Ocean-front city of Del Mar, like La Jolla just to the south, is known as an upscale residential community and luxury resort.
