Bea Evenson Fountain
Located at the eastern end of El Prado, the main street running east-west through Balboa Park, the Bea Evenson Fountain was built in 1972 and named after Bea Evenson, who worked tirelessly to preserve the historic buildings in the park. The circular water feature spurts out water at a rapid rate, creating a cool, refreshing atmosphere that attracts children playing in the water and others relaxing on hot days.
San Diego
San Diego is one of the largest cities in California, bordering Mexico. San Diego is blessed with a mild climate and an open atmosphere, with beautiful beaches stretching alongside the elegant cityscape and Old Town, which retains strong traces of its Mexican past. Other tourist attractions include a museum built on an aircraft carrier, which is typical of a naval city, and a vast city park with one of the world's largest zoos.
