Lake Braies
Lake Braies is located about 15 km north of the town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, nestled in the mountains at an altitude of 1,496 meters. Surrounded by the steep rocky mountains of the Dolomiti, the mysterious emerald green lake is so beautiful that it has been called the "Pearl of the Dolomiti. It has recently come into the limelight as the setting for an Italian TV drama and has become one of the most popular tourist spots in the area. Rowboats and hiking around the lake allow visitors to enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains and lake to the fullest.
Dolomites
