Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy
Lake Garda
Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy and stretches across the three regions of Lombardy, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige in northern Italy. The surrounding high mountains block the cold winds, and the mild climate throughout the year has long made the area a popular recreation spot. A leisurely cruise on a cruise boat to the charming towns scattered along the lake's narrow 52-km north-south shoreline is a standard route for visitors to enjoy the lake to the fullest.
Italian Lakes
Several long, narrow, glacier-carved lakes in the southern foothills of the Alps are called Italian Lakes. This scenic area has long been a favorite of aristocrats, and even today it is an exclusive resort with mansions and villas. Lake Como, dotted with aristocratic mansions with beautiful gardens, Lake Maggiore, whose Alpine scenery has attracted artists, and Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, are representative examples. The mild climate allows visitors to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious stay while taking a cruise or strolling along the lakeside.
