Mount Pomagagnon
Mount Pomagagnon rises like a huge wall to the north of Cortina d'Ampezzo, the leading resort town in the Dolomites. The highest peak rises 2,450 meters above sea level, and a number of other peaks are clustered around it. The sharp rock peaks, which seem to slice through the sky behind idyllic meadows and forests, change their appearance depending on the season and time of day, creating a beautiful scene for hikers to enjoy.
Dolomites
The Dolomites, a mountainous region in northeastern Italy, is known for its numerous mountain massifs that contain a unique ore called dolomite. The mountains that rise like spires toward the sky are a unique and spectacular natural formation, and their impressive scenery, together with the forests and villages that cover their foothills, is a highlight of the region. It is a major resort area that attracts people all year round, with mountain climbing and hiking in the summer and a skiing mecca in the winter.
