Grenz Glacier
The Grenz Glacier is the most powerful feature of the silvery white world that can be seen from the Gornergrat, the terminus of the Gornergrat Railway, which is the highlight of sightseeing in Zermatt. The scenery of pure white ice interwoven with the surrounding 4,000-meter mountains such as Monte Rosa and Lyskamm is overwhelmingly beautiful. The railroad is open all year round, allowing visitors to view the magnificent Grenz Glacier at any time of the year, as it changes its appearance with the seasons.
Matterhorn
Located on the border between Switzerland and Italy, the 4,478-meter-high Matterhorn is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps. The sharp, pyramid-like peak against the blue sky is a magnet for people from all over the world. There are many observation spots and hiking trails that allow non-mountaineers to view the mountain easily, including a mountain climbing train and a ropeway.
