Port Vell
Barcelona has been a thriving port city for 2,000 years. Its port is located close to the city center and serves as the center of commerce and logistics. The oldest port in the city is Port Vell. This old port, which had completed its main role with the expansion of the port, was redeveloped for the 1992 Olympics and is now a marina where yachts and cruise ships dock. The beautiful port, with its open atmosphere typical of Barcelona, is a perfect place to stroll and rest.
Barcelona
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is one of the world's leading tourist cities, facing the Mediterranean Sea and blessed with a mild climate. It is famous for its architecture by Antoni Gaudí, who was active in the 19th century, and especially for the splendor of the Sagrada Familia, which is still being built today. The city's large area is also home to many other attractions, such as the historic Gothic Quarter, Montjuïc with its many museums, and Tibidabo, which offers a panoramic view of Barcelona.
