Gudbrandsjuvet
The Golden Route from Geirangerfjord, one of the most beautiful fjords in the world, to Åndalsnes in the north, offers some of Norway's most spectacular natural scenery. The highlight, Trollstigen, is a well-known scenic spot, but the Gudbrandsjuvet before it is not to be missed. The dynamic landscape created by the rich water flow and rocks is a popular attraction that keeps people stopping to visit.
Golden Route
Route 63, which leads from Geirangerfjord to the town of Åndalsnes in the north, is called the Golden Route because of its breathtakingly beautiful scenery of narrow inlets, steep cliffs, and cascading waterfalls. In particular, the steep, winding slope of Trollstigen (The troll path) is famous for its steep but spectacular views, and is a popular driving destination during the summer season.
