Daikomyoji Temple
Daikomyoji Temple is one of the many sub-temples (temples built alongside large Zen temples) within the precincts of Shokokuji Temple, the head temple of the Shokokuji sect of Zen Buddhism. Shokokuji Temple has many cultural assets and is always crowded with worshippers. On the other hand, Daikomyoji Temple has a quiet and calm atmosphere. The elegant dry landscape garden gently welcomes visitors who come to the temple for red seal tours.
