Black Desert

Among several scenic spots in Egypt's Western Desert that have a peculiar look, the Black Desert is located about 20 km south of the Bahariya Oasis. Western Desert

Of the desert areas that cover approximately 90% of Egypt's land area, the vast desert west of the Nile River is known as the Western Desert. Hidden in the world of rocks and sand as far as the eye can see are the magnificent landscapes of the Black Desert and White Desert, known for their unique topography. At some oases, which have flourished as trading cities since ancient times and retain ruins from various periods, visitors can enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by date palms and olive trees.
