Ardales
Ardales is a small village near Málaga in Andalusia. Located southwest of the dammed lake at the upper reaches of the Guadalhorce Valley, Ardales has an impressive landscape with the ruins of a castle on a small hill and whitewashed houses lining the slope. The area around Ardales has been inhabited since prehistoric times, and traces of ancient Rome and Islam are still evident. Caminito del Rey Area
El Caminito del Rey is a promenade built into the cliffs along the lush Guadalhorce Valley near Málaga. This promenade, which means "King's Little Path" in Spanish, was built in the early 20th century for flood control construction. It has recently been reconstructed and has become a popular hiking trail with spectacular views of the valley. The surrounding area is also dotted with charming small villages.
