Tioga Road
The Tioga Road is part of California State Route 120, a 74-km-long drive that traverses the alpine region of Yosemite National Park from east to west. The road is open from early summer to autumn when the snow melts from the high altitude of more than 3,000 meters in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Along the route, there are many spots where you can enjoy nature, such as the view of Yosemite's rocky mountains, beautiful lakes, and giant sequoia forests.
Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park, located in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is a paradise for flora and fauna, with its wilderness of virgin forests, valleys and lakes. The park is full of attractions such as giant sequoia trees, El Capitan, the world's largest granite monolith, and Yosemite Falls, the largest waterfall in the U.S. You can enjoy nature throughout the year, camping and trekking from spring to autumn, and skiing in winter.
