Mirador Killi Killi
La Paz is a city whose major attraction is the cityscape itself, which fills the mortar-shaped terrain, and there are various observation points, called "miradors" in Spanish, at various locations. One of the most famous is the Mirador Killi Killi, located near Plaza Murillo, the center of the city's sightseeing. It is a hot spot that attracts travelers day and night to enjoy the spectacular view that can only be seen here.
La Paz, the de facto capital of Bolivia, is known as the highest capital city in the world at 3,600 meters above sea level. The unique cityscape is impressive, with high-rise buildings rising at the bottom of the mortar-shaped terrain and rustic houses made of sun-dried bricks increasing as one rises to the rim. A typical way to spend a day in the city is to take in the panoramic view of the city from a high observatory or tour the historic colonial buildings that remain in the center of the city.
