Osaka Station

Osaka Station is the largest station in western Japan, and is served by a variety of train lines, including the Tokaido Main Line, which connects to Kyoto and Kobe, the Osaka Loop Line, the Kansai Main Line, and the Fukuchiyama Line. More than 400,000 passengers pass through the station every day, and the station building, Osaka Station City, opened in 2011, making it even more crowded.

Kita

Kita (means "north") and Minami (means "south") are the two major shopping areas in Osaka. Kita is the gateway to Osaka where many railroad stations are located, and the business and entertainment districts are spread out around Osaka Station. It is lined with high-class hotels and commercial facilities with cutting-edge stores, and has a more stylish and sophisticated atmosphere than Minami, but at its feet is a chaotic underground mall where even locals are said to get lost.
