Marrakesh, Morocco
Jemaa el-Fnaa
Located in the heart of Marrakech's Medina (Old City), the largest in North Africa, Jemaa el-Fnaa is a historic square that has existed since the 11th century. During the day, orange juice stalls are lined up and snake charmers and street performers show off their skills. In the evening, the number of stalls increases one after another and the smell of delicious food fills the air. Berber dances accompanied by live music are performed here and there, and the festive atmosphere and enthusiasm continues until midnight.
