Santorini Island, Greece
Pyrgos Kallistis
Pyrgos Kallistis is a small town located about 5 km south of Fira, the center of Santorini. Located on the highest hill on the island, it still retains its medieval townscape. Surrounded by beautiful white houses and vineyards, this peaceful town is perfect for a leisurely stroll. You will find a less touristy, rustic Santorini of the olden days.
Santorini
Santorini is a volcanic island located at the southernmost tip of the Cyclades, east of the Peloponnese. The island, which is the outer ring of a caldera, is shaped like a crescent moon, with cliffs rising out of the sea and white houses standing side by side like falling snow. The island is known for its impressive streets with white walls and blue domes, and for the beautiful sunsets that illuminate them, making it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Aegean Sea.
